Short answer: there is no “Vonwik app” to download on a Fire TV Stick. The APK that vonwik.com handed out was a rebranded copy of IPTV Smarters, and the servers it pointed at went offline in June 2026. On a Firestick you install a normal player (IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate) and type in the line a live provider gives you. Ten minutes, no computer needed.
If you still have the old vonwik.com APK installed
Leave it or delete it, it makes no difference. The player itself is harmless, but it has nothing left to connect to. Any site offering a “Vonwik TV app Fire Stick free download” in 2026 is handing you either that same dead build or someone else’s player with their own line inside. Neither restores a vonwik.com account. The background is in what happened to Vonwik.
Install a player on the Firestick
- On the Fire TV home screen go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and turn on Apps from unknown sources. On newer sticks this is under Install unknown apps, per app.
- Search the Amazon app store for Downloader and install it.
- Open Downloader and enter the address of the player you want. IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate both publish an APK for Fire TV. Install when prompted.
- Open the player and pick Login with Xtream Codes API.
Sign in
You need three things from your provider: a server URL with its port (for example http://line.example.com:8080), a username, and a password. Type them on the remote; pasting from the Fire TV keyboard tends to add a trailing space that the server rejects. Three Firestick-specific problems
- Buffering on a Fire TV Stick Lite or an older 2nd-gen stick. These have 1 GB of RAM. Lower the stream quality in the player, or use a 4K Max stick for 4K channels.
- “Maximum connections reached”. Your phone or a second TV is still streaming on the same line. One line, one screen.
